It sounds like a connection issue. Firstly, try using a wired connection ethernet and tell me if the problem still persists.

If your internet speed is average and the issue persists with a wired connection, then it is not a connection issue and we will look for a way to solve it. Have a great day! Details required : characters remaining Cancel Submit 1 person found this reply helpful. Was this reply helpful?

Yes No. Sorry this didn’t help. Thanks for your feedback. Please note that my internet speed is good and it is MBPS. It is connected through Ethernet and it is wired. But still video call drop is frequent phenomenon. Ever since the new Teams upgrade, I am having significant problems with video in larger teams calls. The newest version is 1. Never had this issue before with the previous version. User Y was able to share her screen with no problem during the meeting. We asked verbally and everyone reported the same thing that they could only see the nine panels of either stock photos or just initials.

Audio was reportedly strong for all callers. Two other users were able to launch their cameras, see each other in the lower corner of the screen, no one else could see that image and then cameras just powered down and the self-photo square went black.

I have a very similar issue with this version 1. I am very concerned that more users will be automatically updated to this version. Looking at the traffic it appears to be a port issue, Teams connections should try to connect on a random ish port and if that fails then use UDP It looks like this is not happening and the connections are failing following the random port connection block by our proxy server.

Just to reiterate, all other versions of the client are working through our network, this is not a network or ISP issue. If anyone has a resolution Microsoft? No luck, seems to be an issue with multiple versions of the Teams client.

Our issue only affects the call initiator, users can join someone else’s call without a problem, is it the same for you. Our temporary workaround is to install 1. The problem is they will auto-update to a newer version which has the same issue, usually within a couple of weeks. I don’t mean to be rude, but as someone who’s facing similar issues it can’t be possible that the answer is to connect through cable. I need to use wifi, and there’s no reason why Teams shouldn’t work when I have great connection.

Thank you very much, Rola.. It would be great if there are any other steps should I take.. Please find below screenshot from fast and it shows mbps. Thanks again for your help!! Your Internet speed is.

In reply to parameshkumar1’s post on July 28, Also, kindly note that issue persists even when I connected using Mac book air with Catalina OS, I have upgraded teams to latest version and still having more frequent call drops.. Maria Maria D. Independent Advisor.

You might want to clear the cache. I hope it works. Here is one example that happens today: User Y was able to share her screen with no problem during the meeting. That is why I believe there is something wrong with the latest version of MS Teams. Is there a way to rollback my entire company to a previous version of MS Teams?

Thank you. In reply to Tlemes’s post on July 31, Thank you, Andre. Ryan Evans I also have a lot of users recently experiencing dropped calls seconds into joining a Teams meeting or call, is there any update on this issue as it seems to be getting worse. In reply to Ryan Evans94’s post on September 16, Hi Ryan, No luck, seems to be an issue with multiple versions of the Teams client.

Our issue only affects the call initiator, users can join someone else’s call without a problem, is it the same for you Our temporary workaround is to install 1. Our issue is affecting people answering calls and making them, we have thousands of devices running 1. This site in other languages x.
