The biggest problem IMHO is not that it won’t work, or that Microsoft will come after you; it’s that you do not have the serial no, so that means some stranger is the admin for your account.

So they could potentially access all your documents. Also, this person owns the email which is used for activation, so she can just change the password in the future, thus locking you out of Office.
